Chinese American Bear bring "Dim Sum & Then Some" to the East Coast 🥟
Seattle's beloved bilingual indie duo Chinese American Bear — Anne Tong and Bryce Barsten — just dropped their third album Dim Sum & Then Some (May 12, via Moshi Moshi Records), and they're heading to the East Coast THIS week.
The record is everything their fans love: warbly guitars, Mandarin-English lyrics, '60s and '70s psychedelic nostalgia wrapped in a genuinely joyful, modern indie pop package. BBC 6 Music's Lauren Laverne and Nick Grimshaw are already on it. So is KEXP.
